SYDNEY: AMP Capital Shopping Centres has appointed Devotion to relaunch seven of its websites, while incumbent Mesh Interactive will continue to manage its existing sites.

In June AMP Capital Shopping Centres opened a tender to digital agencies to redevelop the seven sites in order to improve customer relationship management.

In addition to incumbent Mesh Interactive, the pitch list included @www, Amnesia, Bullseye and Devotion.

Stuart Langeveldt, head of marketing and communication at AMP Capital Shopping Centres, confirmed Devotion would relaunch the seven websites and provide ongoing maintenance for AMP Capital.

“The main reason for appointing Devotion was their strategic thinking ability as well as their creative approach. They will give some fresh thinking to the relaunch,” Langeveldt said.

The websites include Warringah Mall and Macquarie Centre in NSW, Pacific Fair and Mt Ommaney Centre in Queensland, Knox City in Victoria, Garden City Booragoon and Karrinyup Shopping Centre in Western Australia.

Incumbent Mesh Interactive will provide ongoing management for the company’s remaining 19 websites.
